A monthly round up of all things Westwell Players from our Secretary, Sita Turner
It is hard to believe that we are already 5 months into 2025, but even more shocking is the fact that in just over 2 weeks, Gym Bunnies will be performed on the Westwell stage.
The actors have all worked so hard perfecting their characters and making them their own to bring you an unforgettable show.
Ticket sales rocketed in the first week and have been continuing steadily ever since so please make sure you secure your ticket before the show, as we can’t guarantee there will be tickets available on the night.
If you follow us on social media, you will have noticed that our characters have been quite vocal about their opinions of West Wellness Leisure centre, but do any of them have a grievance big enough to commit murder?
Our AGM is set to take place on Tuesday 3rd June at 7.30pm at Westwell Parish Hall. This is open to members, Friends of Westwell Players and prospective members. It’s a great opportunity to hear about what we’ve been up to in more detail and meet our members. We have acting and non-acting roles available and you don’t need to have any prior experience. We are a friendly bunch and in addition to the shows, we arrange regular social events such as our recent Stars in their Eyes event, and trip to see Charing Players’ latest performance.
During the meeting we will be looking to narrow down the choices for our November show, rehearsals for which will start after the summer.
All that’s left for me to say is that I sincerely hope you enjoy the show as much as I enjoyed writing and directing it. Please help us spread the word by sharing our social media posts and telling your friends; your support is, as always, greatly appreciated.
